No Fee Counseling

Counselors.... Our SCORE Chapter (Albany Chapter #127) has over thirty highly qualified business counselors who counsel approximately 500 clients annually.

Counseling.... Clients are scheduled by appointment for first-time counseling with two of our SCORE Counselors. Follow-on counseling is provided as necessary, including mentoring and matching of clients with counselors with specialized backgrounds and computer assistance in the BIC. All counseling is strictly confidential.

Business Planning and Borrowing.... Our Counselors provide guidance and assist Small Business Clients in developing Business, Marketing and Finance Plans. We work closely with the Small Business Administration (SBA), a function of which is to guarantee significant portions of small business loans.

Counselor Networking.... SCORE has 390 chapter organizations nationwide made up of over 10,000 counselors. We are all linked together through an Internet forum that enables us to confer for expertise on unusual or difficult problems.

No Charge for Services.... There are no charges to the client for any of the counseling and uses of the business resources. There may be nominal charges for the participation in seminars and workshops
