About SCORE® Albany, New York
The Albany Chapter of SCORE was founded in 1963 as Chapter #127.
We have been an active chapter since that time and have approximately
40 volunteers. The counselors are experienced business owners and
managers who volunteer their experience and knowledge to help small
business owners and potential small business owners achieve success.
Client service is the objective of Albany SCORE and the volunteer
business counselors are dedicated to providing the best possible
service. Face-to-face or online, the counselors of Albany SCORE are
able and willing to aid in the success of small business.
Our main office is located in the SBA's CAPITAL DISTRICT BUSINESS
RESOURCE CENTER, a Business Resource Center (BIC) designed to be
a one-stop assistance center for small business - SCORE counseling
and business planning, SBA loan guarantees, Chamber of Commerce and
IRS tax information assistance.
Additionally, we have four other counseling sites in the region.
We invite you to explore our web site and select the services to
suit your business needs.
